Nocturnal Furade

The “Hyakki Youkai” is a story that frequently appears in myths around the world, with each culture, both Eastern and Western, having its own traditions. Through this event, participants can walk through the night of Kaohsiung, lanterns in hand and wearing a traditional haori, strolling amidst the bustling cityscape, slowly enjoying the black night with the furries.

Night Furade Event Location: Kaohsiung Main Public Library, FEDS Kaohsiung Store, Kaohsiung Yi-Cheng Tang Guandi Temple, Kaohsiung 85 Sky Tower, TAi Urban Resort, and surrounding roads.

Night Furade Guidelines

Participants in the Night Furade must hold the “FURRY TEA PARTY 2025 – NOCTURNAL FURADE Themed Lantern.” Without the lantern, participants will not be allowed to join the parade.
The “FURRY TEA PARTY 2025 – NOCTURNAL FURADE Themed Lantern” is a limited edition item, available until sold out. To obtain one in advance, register as a “Apprentice, Soul Warden, Spiritual Master, or Sacred Guardian”. Lanterns can also be purchased on the event day by “Neophyte”. Please refer to the event registration webpage for more details.
The “FURRY TEA PARTY 2025 – NOCTURNAL FURADE Themed Lantern” is an LED lantern, with a 3D-printed handle and a light-etched bottom. It is not a traditional candle lantern.
The Night Furade will be canceled if it rains.
The Night Furade will begin at the Kaohsiung City Library Main Branch and pass by major landmarks such as the [FEDS Kaohsiung Store], [Kaohsiung Yi-Cheng Tang Guandi Temple], and [Kaohsiung 85 Sky Tower]. The FEDS Kaohsiung Store will include a walk through the 1st floor, so please follow the on-site staff’s instructions.
All participants holding the “FURRY TEA PARTY 2025 – NOCTURNAL FURADE Themed Lantern” may join the parade. Cosplay participants related to themes like monsters or exorcists are also welcome.
At the starting point, please cooperate with the staff to confirm your lantern and light it before proceeding along the parade route as directed.
During the parade, please follow the instructions of the lead staff, traffic guides, and police officers, and always be mindful of traffic safety.
Please stay with the group and avoid stopping frequently for photos, as it may slow down the procession.
If you feel unwell or get injured during the parade, please immediately inform nearby staff for assistance and treatment.

Depart from Kaohsiung Main Public Library → Turn right onto Xinguang Road → Turn left onto Zhongshan 2nd Road to enter the back entrance of [FEDS Kaohsiung Store] → Inside FEDS Kaohsiung Store → Exit the main entrance of FEDS Kaohsiung Store, cross the road, and turn left onto Sanduo 4th Road → Follow Sanduo 4th Road towards Zhonghua 4th Road, heading toward [Kaohsiung Yi-Cheng Tang Guandi Temple] → Turn left onto Ziqiang 3rd Road, pass by [Kaohsiung 85 Sky Tower], and head toward Xinguang Road → Turn left onto Xinguang Road towards Zhonghua 4th Road → Turn right onto Xinguang Road to return to Kaohsiung Main Public Library.
