The following rules apply to Furry Tea Party:
Participant Guidelines:
- Access to FurryTeaParty event-designated spaces is restricted to participants only. Other areas are subject to the regulations of respective authorities.
- Participants will be issued exclusive event identification cards which must be worn at all times within the event space. If the event organizers find that the identification card does not match the participant, they reserve the right to revoke both parties’ participation and confiscate the identification card.
- All event areas are public spaces. Participants are expected to adhere to the rules and regulations.
- In the event of damage, dirt, or loss of items to the decorations or equipment within the event area, the responsible party will be required to provide compensation in accordance with venue regulations.
- The consumption of alcohol, smoking, littering and vandalizing the environment and other inappropriate behaviors within the event area are strictly prohibited.
- The event area is open to all ages. Participants must refrain from wearing, carrying, or displaying controversial clothing or items that may disturb others. Organizers reserve the right to remove individuals engaging in such behavior. Severe violations may result in offenders being handed over to the local authorities/police.
- Lost personal items found after the event will be announced on the official website. Items unclaimed after 2 weeks will be disposed of by the organizers.
- Participants are expected to adhere to the rules set forth by the event organizers. Failure to comply may result in expulsion from the event.
- Please keep your personal valuables with you at all times. The organizers will not be held responsible for any items lost.
- Participants are reminded to avoid endangering themselves or disturbing others by not running or making loud noises within the event area.
- Activities such as campaigning, religious activities, Multi-level-marketing/Network-marketing-related activities, or any other inappropriate activities are strictly prohibited within the event venue. Violators will be immediately removed from the premises.
- In case of an emergency, participants are advised to follow the instructions of the staff.
- If you witness any harassment, malicious behavior, or actions causing distress to others, please inform the staff immediately.
- If you notice any unauthorized individuals without registration or official identification entering the Furry Tea Party event area, please notify the staff promptly.
- Only information, statement or content published by Furry Tea Party’s official website, FB Fan Page and official channels represent the official views and position of the organizers.
- For serious violations, the organizers reserve the right to cease interactions, expel individuals from the event, and prohibit future participation in any activities organized or co-organized by the Furry Tea Party working team or the Taiwan Furry Interaction Association.
The organizers reserve the right to assess situations and make necessary rule modifications, irrespective of circumstances if required.
Participant Prop Regulations:
- Within indoor event areas, the use of metal, sharp, or props exceeding 1 meter in length is strictly prohibited. (For large-scale equipment props in question, they may be allowed upon review and approval by the organizers, and their use is restricted to designated areas determined by the organizers). No such restrictions apply in outdoor spaces, but participants are urged to avoid swinging props excessively to prevent accidents. Other local prevailing regulations or rules still apply.
- Firearms-related props, including replicas, are strictly prohibited from being carried within the entire event area.
- The use of tripods or fixed photography equipment, as well as drones, is strictly prohibited within the event venue without permission from the organizers.
- If event staff determines that a prop or related item poses a danger or may inconvenience others, they have the authority to prohibit its use within the event area.
Memorabilia Guidelines:
- The exclusive participation card issued by Furry Tea Party is printed annually exclusively for participants and cannot be reissued. Please keep it safe.
- In consideration of the privileges of Super Sponsor (Starry Sky Emerald Adventurer) and Epic Sponsor (Starry Sky Diamond Adventurer), commemorative merchandise will not be sold separately.
- All exclusive ID cards are produced under contract with the EasyCard Corporation and are not available for purchase except for the current Furry Tea Party event.
Fursuiter Guidelines:
- Fursuiters are free to interact within the event area but must adhere to appropriate etiquette. During interactions with other fursuiters or attendees, inappropriate actions or verbal harassment are prohibited. If reported, the organizers have the right to expel individuals from the event.
- Due to limited visibility, fursuiters may have difficulty reacting promptly to their surroundings. Therefore, please refrain from touching, tackling, or hugging from behind without prior communication and consent.
- Please inform fursuiters before taking photos. After taking photos, it is necessary to inform and thank them to indicate that the photo session is complete, to avoid situations where fursuiters, with limited visibility, remain in place unaware that the session has ended.
- If you spot a fursuiter experiencing difficulty in moving or one that has fallen over, please help one another out.
- Fursuiters are prohibited from wearing attire unsuitable for public appearances or accessories that may offend other participants.
- Fursuiters must avoid revealing explicit or suggestive elements. If a violator is found, the organizers have the right to immediately remove the costume. In severe cases, violators may be expelled immediately from the event with cancellation of event participation without refund.
- If a fursuiter experiences a wardrobe malfunction, such as an exposed stuffing, please feel free to kindly remind them. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
- In case of any physical discomfort while in suit, prioritize your own safety, take off your fursuit and take a break. Seek assistance from staff or nearby individuals if you need it.
- When taking photographs, videos or other recorded media of fursuiters, kindly avoid capturing or including non-consenting individuals. In the event of such occurrences, it is requested to take the appropriate steps to protect their privacy and confidentiality.
- All media obtained during the event, including but not limited to videos, photographs, are for personal use only. Commercial or other uses are strictly prohibited.
- For any serious violations, the organizers have the right to cease interactions, expel individuals from the event, and prohibit future participation in any activities organized or co-organized by the Furry Tea Party working team or the Taiwan Furry Cultural Exchange Association.
The organizers reserve the right to assess situations and make necessary rule modifications, irrespective of circumstances if required.
